A Lightweight Throwback for the New Saucony Kinvara 10

Ever since it was released 10 years ago, the Kinvara has continued to evolve along with its dedicated following. For the new Kinvara – the tenth version of the shoe – Saucony has turned back the style clock to pay homage to the original version.

The original Kinvara was designed to be a part of a larger running system as the short milage, lightweight and fast workout shoe. Over time, people began to incorporate the Kinvara into longer and longer runs, and Saucony realized the need to evolve the shoe with how it was being used. Later versions of the shoe featured increased durability and comfort as it transitioned into an everyday trainer.

You can watch a short video here about Saucony’s changing approach that helped keep the Kinvara relevant and popular:

Saucony’s latest updates continue in the trend of improving the shoe for those who use it as an everyday trainer. New to the shoe is FORMFIT – a contoured foam midsole that combines with a full length EVERUN for the most cushion ever in a Kinvara. The Kinvara 10 now also features an engineered mesh upper that proved breathable and secure in our test runs.

If you’re in search of a lightweight, durable but comfortable shoe for quick or even medium length workouts, you should give the Kinvara 10 a try. A limited run available in the same designs as the original colors (with some sleek new updates) at all Dick Pond stores now. Already have a pair?
